Tax Bills
To Pay in Person
If paying in person, please bring your entire tax bill with you for a stamped paid receipt. Payment can be made at the Township by cash or check or by credit card for an additional 3% service charge. The Township offices are open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
After Hours Drop Box
A locked drop box is located at the Township Office for your convenience. Dropbox receipts will only be mailed by request. Any tax payments left in the drop box after 5:00 p.m. will be processed the following business day. Payments received in the drop box on the due date will be posted as paid on time.
To Pay Taxes Online
There is a 3% fee to pay property taxes by credit card online or in person. Click "Pay Taxes Online" to search your name, address, or parcel number to pay online.
Online Payment Information
The system will:
(1) Tell you the total of your payment, including the appropriate fee
(2) Obtain approval for the charge
(3) Issue an onscreen confirmation number and a printable digital receipt. The charge will also appear on your credit card statement showing the tax amount paid on one line and the convenience fee amount on a separate line.

Though the township attempts to maintain this information and reviews its accuracy regularly, persons obtaining and using or attempting to obtain and use such information do so with the full knowledge and understanding that such information may not always be available, up to date, or correct.

2025 Summer Taxes
The 2025 Summer tax bills will be mailed on June 30, 2025. The tax due date is usually, September 14th. The 14th falls on a Sunday, so taxes are due Monday, September 15, 2025, by 5:00 p.m. After 5:00 p.m., a 1% interest charge is added to the amount due on the 1st of each month after the due date. Postmarks are not accepted.
2025 Winter Taxes
The 2025 Winter Tax bills will be mailed on December 1st, 2025. The Winter Tax due date is usually February 14th. The 14th is a Saturday, so taxes will be due Monday, February 16, 2025. On March 1st, all unpaid 2025 Summer and Winter Tax Payments will be sent delinquent to the Livingston Country Treasurer’s Office.
Partial Payments
Township residents can make partial payments on the taxes due for their property during the tax collection season. Partial payments for Summer tax bills can be made between July 1st and February 28th, and partial payments for Winter tax bills can be made between December 1st and February 28th. Notice
Failure to receive a tax bill does not waive interest.
The legal responsibility of paying taxes on the correct parcel of property rests on the taxpayer.
Should a parcel be paid more than once, the first payment will always be the accepted payment. Any subsequent payments will be returned to the payer.
The Treasurer will not be responsible for payment on the incorrect parcel.
