Paying Taxes During COVID-19

We are now into the 2020 winter tax season. With the unknown state of COVID-19, we are taking extra precautionary measures to help keep our staff and the public safe in regards to tax payments this year. We are encouraging “contactless” payments. We have included return envelopes with your tax bill for easy mail-in payments.

We have a walk-up secured drop box that is located to the right of the main entrance doors on the front side of our building. At the drop box, we also have envelopes available for your use. You may also pay your tax payment online through our township website: but please note there is a 3% convenience fee. A receipt can be mailed upon request.

TAXES ARE DUE FEB 28, 2021, because this day falls on a Sunday, the tax department will be OPEN MONDAY  MARCH 1, 2021 from 9:00-5:00 for tax payments.

Any payments made after 5:01 pm on March 1, 2021 will go delinquent to the Livingston County Treasurer.

Delinquent payments to the Livingston County Treasurer CANNOT be accepted through the Oceola Township Treasurer's Office, they must be paid at the Livingston County Treasure's Office @ 200 East Grand River, Howell, MI 48843.
